The week results in Duyunov's project
Dmitriy Duyunov shared the latest project news:
1) The members of the expert committee on reviewing the applications of the potential residents of the SEZ “Technolopis Moscow” have been approved and assigned.
2) The works on selecting the potential contractors for building the engineering center have started, the chosen companies have been sent the pre-design terms of reference with the purpose of getting the cost estimates.
3) We have received a lot of interesting solutions for the logo (trademark) of the “SovElMash” company but we haven’t made the choice yet, so the project participants can still take part in creating it.
4) The motor tests are underway in the laboratory (testing DA-90S motors is in progress).
5) The testing of the drive motor for the “Student” claims of Belgorod University has been carried out. The measurements were made with the Curtis controller at different pre-set parameters. We were very pleased with the received results.
Dmitriy Duyunov announced very important news that Rospatent was changing the procedure and requirements to applications and describing the invention claims, thus bringing them closer to the American model. It may result in a lot of Russian patents becoming unprotected. It’s possible a lot of developments will be challenged and become generally known and many of them will lose the copyright fee.
Dmitriy Alexandrovich notes down that the team anticipated such a course of events, that’s why the invention claims were initially made in a way providing maximum protection from the potential innovations.
All the new requirements for the invention applications are not known yet, since they will be published only on December 1.
The major part of the project’s intangible assets hasn’t been patented on purpose, the patent applications will be submitted already within the scope of the future engineering company after taking a closer look at the new Rospatent requirements.
