Project news from Dmitriy Duyunov

At the last webinar Dmitriy Alexandrovich summed up the preliminary results of the first year of the project telling what tasks have been completed by the team for this period of time:

• The office, work places for the employees and the workshop area are put in order. After all minor repairs the show room is now properly equipped to give everybody interested an opportunity to get a closer look at Duyunov’s inventions.
• We made and equipped a local network for distribution calculations which were used to re-engineer a range of motors and to make motor models with standard winding. We checked their performance characteristics for compliance with the product catalogue. The obtained parameters will be compared with the real motors. Besides, on the basis of these calculations we made and examined the models of modernized and re-engineered motors.
• The administration department was created and set up. New employees were hired who contributed to updating all materials connected with the project and placing orders. Some employees were hired to prepare preliminary design documentation for entering Alabushevo.
• A meeting room was equipped.
• New equipment orders were updated, the product list and product requirements were corrected. The suppliers were chosen, equipment orders - sent.
• Additional premises for locating production equipment were leased.
• The first premises repaired and equipped was the laboratory. Soon we will start testing and modernizing motors, making measurement protocols and then – testing a part of the re-engineered motors, controllers and hub motors. The further plans include equipping the other sites.
• We developed some proposals for making additions to some GOSTs (State Standards), created the methodology for determining the resistance of “Star” and “Delta-Star”, checking their correlation, checking the correctness of making “Slavyanka” combined winding. The algorithms will be published and protected.
• We created company's intangible assets – three patent applications on behalf of “SovElMash” and applications for algorithms that very soon will be submitted to Rospatent (Federal Agency for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks).
• The employees were trained to work with the new equipment. Further these specialists will train those who work at our plants.

The primary tasks of our team for the near future:

• a full-scale launch of the laboratory next week;
• processing the new equipment data, making calibration plans;
• filing for approval the developed general specifications for trial general purpose industrial motors to facilitate starting the tests;
• delivering the laser equipment and completing the works at the laser area.

As soon as the new equipment is delivered, the rest will depend on us. Starting from that moment, “SovElMash” will become a self-supporting company and will be able to produce motor prototype models.

Currently we can say that the project is 15-16 days behind the schedule. But despite everything, Duyunov’s team is overcoming the difficulties and making up for the delay with exceptionally hard work!
