"From the early childhood I was fascinated by invention just like my father!" Evgeniy Duyunov on "That’s what I think!" programme
TV airtime is not a rare thing for the Duyunovs. Their activity is discussed more and more, and their work results are publicized in mass media more and more often.
Evgeniy Duyunov came as a guest to "That’s what I think" programme where he shared how the idea of asynchronous engines had been conceived.
Far back in 1995 Dmitriy Duyunov came to Zelenograd where he got involved into studying Lavega parametric machines. Duyunov the senior paid attention to the fact that the given technology had never been repeated on other engines. As a result Duyunov developed combined winding and the principle of forming it. For a long time Duyunovs worked on all-purpose engines, but it was difficult to promote them because they were absolutely incomprehensible for wide audience.
Fortunately, progress doesn't stand still! 20 years later when e-transport industry started to develop rapidly, the father and the son came to the conclusion that it was necessary to develop a ground-breaking electric engine - wheel motor.
In his interview Evgeniy Duyunov said that the project development had been quick, wheel motor prototype models were made and sold. A number of partnership contracts were signed, in accordance with one of them Duyunov's company had taken part in creating the first domestic electric motor car. Not so long ago the financing of Duyunov technology project started.
Now thanks to the powerful backing of the investors and partners Duyunov is heading towards building a plant!
