AERONOVA: A week of achievements, partnerships, and big machines
Last week was full of events that move us forward—to the skies, technologies, and our own production. This is what the AERONOVA team was up to.
Supported aviation science
On April 10–11, we became sponsors of the XXII Scientific Readings on Aviation dedicated to the memory of N.E. Zhukovsky. The event was held at MSTU CA and gathered the leading universities, research institutes, and enterprises of the country.
Our team participated in the section "Problems and Challenges of Aeronautics", presenting AERONOVA's developments. We shared experiences, listened to colleagues, and were inspired by the conference projects.
Discussed the launch with Bauman University
Held a working meeting with the engineering center "Stratospheric Systems" of Bauman Moscow State Technical University—we summed up the results of the latest launch of the stratospheric vehicle, which was an important step in mastering long-term flights in the stratosphere.
At the meeting:
• studied the final technical report;
• conducted an analysis of the mission's effectiveness;
• discussed the reasons for the premature landing of the vehicle and ways to eliminate them in future flights;
• proposed updates to the testing methodology to improve the reliability, accuracy, and duration of flights.
We received new equipment for production
Yes, it has arrived!
Two powerful machines from China have been delivered to the base, each weighing 5–7 tons:
• five-axis milling,
• turning-milling.
We will soon begin commissioning the machines; in the near future, they will accelerate and simplify key work processes.
In the coming days, we are expecting an erosion machine, which will complete an important stage of the company's production autonomy.
The week turned out to be eventful. We are not just building airships—we are laying the foundation of an entire industry. Stay tuned—the most interesting is just beginning!
