Did you know that airships are the quietest mode of transportation today? That's why they are so favored by environmentalists and those combating drug trafficking and illegal harvesting of bioresources.
✅ As for environmentalists, back in 2014, Belarusian scientists proposed to track the migration of wild animals with the help of RPAS (remotely piloted aircraft systems). And now airship-based environmental monitoring can be used to assess forests in fire danger periods, to count the population of different animal and plant species.
The conservation community is happy to see that airship construction is progressing. And that's all due to the fact that an airship doesn't need a runway, and airships are the only aircraft in the world that don't make noise hampering research.
✅ As for the law, in Karelia, for example, airships have long been used to stop drug trafficking and illegal extraction of biological resources. And the Pentagon uses airships to monitor illegal migration at the Mexico-United States border.
