Laboratory news
Evgeniy Duyunov showed new equipment and told about testing the modernized DA-90 motors.
Two regulated precision 15-kW power supply units optimized for the voltage of 200 Volt, with the operating current of up to 210 Ampere have arrived at the laboratory.
These units will power the wheel motors and other low-voltage motors working as a part of drive systems together with the controller.
The advantage of these power supply units over the batteries is that they don’t have power slumps under nominal operation conditions and provide safe operation since they are inflammable and non-explosive.
Evgeniy showed the bearing assemblies that will be used for removing side load from the strain-gage coupler, thus increasing its service life and measurement accuracy.
DA-90 motor produced by Denzel company is being prepared for testing. The tests are required to check the performance, improve it and provide maximum motor efficiency.
