Project news from Dmitriy Duyunov

The work flow at “SovElMash” doesn’t stand still and there are news at the beginning of the week:
- we have started testing our own controller (the video about this process was published yesterday);
- we are gradually putting the laser equipment into the operation mode, some parts have been made using this equipment;
- another patent application the holder of which will be “SovElMash” is being prepared (the ground is putting the laser equipment into operation which will allow the team to test one of the technical solutions);
- the main scope of work on testing the first motors has been completed;
- the works on producing motors using “Slavyanka” technology have been started.

The scope of completed tasks for the previous period allowed to prepare the team members excellently to the forthcoming work aimed at implementing the main part of the project: the methods of interacting with contractors as well as regulatory and contractual framework have been practically exercised, the skill of building relations with the suppliers has been learnt. The “black lists” of unscrupulous suppliers have been made.

The near-term plans of the team include:
- continuing motor testing;
- assembling new motors similar to the industrial samples and testing them by the end of August;
- continuing the works on putting the laser into operation;
- starting the commissioning procedures for the casting equipment.
