Presently, apart from the assembly and installation works in the laboratory and testing area, we have conducted a range of talks and prepared the stand for the forthcoming exhibition in “Skolkovo”.
In the laboratory, the phased testing of a batch of general-purpose industrial motors is being conducted.
We have developed a special procedure for testing them, according to which primarily the standard measurements will be made – determining the winding and insulation resistance, weighing, shaft operational condition check, check of open-circuit currents, open-circuit modes, short-circuit mode, determining mechanical losses, etc.
The primary task now is to complete all works preceding the measurement of the main performance features.
Finally, next week the motor check in rated load mode will be conducted.
In total, we have planned testing about 40 motors at this stage.
Up to the end of the current week the preliminary testing will have been completed, the machine cooling system for testing hub motors will have been started. And next week testing the hub motors will most probably be started.
