New Zetta presentation

Zetta "City Module-2" has been presented at the V International Forum "Future City" in Togliatti.

The information has appeared online that AvtoVAZ might put the domestically produced electric car Zetta into mass production in 2021, but so far this data hasn't been confirmed.
The car first appeared in October 2017 and was introduced to broad audience in July this year at the exhibition "Innoprom-2018" in Ekaterinburg. The car didn't stand up to criticism concerning its exterior design.
At the Togliatti forum the city car was featured with the new design of both the exterior and interior.

As a reminder, Zetta is an electric car with four hub motors developed in Zelenograd by the team of Dmitriy Alexandrovich Duyunov.
You can learn about it in more detail from our news, in particular, from the interview with Evgeniy Duyunov - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0RYgIYIzOc3333t=3s

Максимальная мощность одного мотор-колеса равна 18,1 кВт. Максимальный крутящий момент - 200 Нм. The maximum power of one hub motor is 18.1 kW. The maximum torque is 200 Nm. Together the motors are capable of developing the power of 72.4 kW (98 horsepower) and the torque of 800 Nm.
The electric car is equipped with Li-ion batteries with 10 kWh capacity, their energy storage is enough to run 200 km on a single charge.

Implementing such a large-scale project requires big investment, that's why it's premature yet to speak about the exact date of the production launch. But we can't rule out the possibility that the updated Zetta will attract a lot of attention and consequently funds necessary for producing the first batch of the electric cars.
