The talks with a major financial company have been completed. An agreement has been signed that guarantees that in case the project is underfinanced, the company will be the source of lacking funds by becoming either the investor or creditor. This event, among other things, is of paramount importance for entering the special economic zone Alabushevo.
The talks with the partners who are planning to build a plant producing general purpose industrial motors in Lipetsk region on the territory of the special economic zone Chaplygino continue. Dmitriy Duyunov told about this partnership in more detail.
The plant will be built in beneficial proximity to Novolipetsk Steel Plant (NLMK). NLMK produces electrical steel the plant will use for its production which guarantees minimal transportation costs. Of no less importance is the fact that NLMK uses over 135,000 induction motors the wear and tear of which has approached 90%.
That’s why NLMK itself is interested in producing energy-efficient motors on its territory and for its needs.
The building design and the required technical evaluation prepared for Alabushevo with some amendments will also be used for the plant in Lipetsk region. The plant in Chaplygino will be under a licensing agreement with “SovElMash” which is undoubtedly beneficial for the investors.
Dmitriy Alexandrovich specifies that the final agreements on building the plant can be made only on the basis and after all tests are conducted in the laboratory. Launching the laboratory allowing to obtain data on general purpose industrial motors and hub motors is the primary team task at the moment.
More on the issue of launching the laboratory: today will have the off-the-shelf pulley groups delivered, on May 16 the balancing and shaft alignment equipment will be delivered. The other equipment has already been debugged.
