News from Evgeniy Duyunov: analysing the results of testing idle running

The nominal voltage of the wheel motor is determined. Practical testing results are close to the calculated values obtained with the help of Ansys Maxwell software system. Idle running loss effect is 202 W at 750 r/min, which is lower than in ADM71A2 asynchronous motor with 750 W motor capacity. The losses primarily arise from “ventilation” losses, run-out, bearings and their lubrication condition, since the wheel coasting is quite poor. Its mechanical engineering assemblies require maintenance.
