About the special economic zone 

As we know, the project “Duyunov’s induction motors” aims at becoming the resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow” and starting the construction of the design engineering department at “Alabushevo” site.
The enterprise construction is planned on the territory of one of SEZs for several reasons, among which there are: free infrastructure, tax relief, location close to Moscow and convenient traffic interchange.

The project team did a great amount of work kept under the public eye, only the interim results were announced in the news.

First and foremost, the construction site for building the enterprise was agreed on. Initially, lot № 29 was allotted to “SovElMash”, but due to the inappropriate configuration, another more convenient lot numbered 16 was chosen.

In order to form the document package to file the application, we have prepared:
1) the economic model;
2) the pre-design terms of reference;
3) the project documentation of the administrative and manufacturing facilities;
4) the application itself.

For strengthening the position of “SovElMash”, getting the approval and coordinating the application by different authorities, we have signed the agreement with the major financial company that guarantees that in case of the project underfunding, it will provide the lacking funds by becoming either the investor or creditor.

At the moment, the project is at the final stage of making the decision on entering the SEZ and is waiting for the committee meeting at which the resident status is to be assigned, but which has been put off several times due to circumstances beyond our control.

Not so long ago the Department of Economic Policy and Development of Moscow filed the official notification that the application of “SovElMash” entering SEZ “Technopolis Moscow” had passed all expert reviews successfully and the meeting is to be held in October, according to the preliminary data.

The department and the SEZ top management are quite favourably disposed towards the project. The chances of entering the special economic zone are high.
