The work routine at “SovElMash”

In “SovElMash” laboratory Igor Korkhov demonstrated the process of testing the drive motor modernized using “Slavyanka” winding applied to a general purpose industrial motor.
Standard motor parameters: at 50 Hz – 1.5 kW power, 750 revolutions.
Specifically for testing, we made tooling allowing to place the motor on the load machine in three-dimension coordinates. Several tests were made at various magnetizing current values, the graphs were constructed.
The maximum power that we managed to get was 2.5 kW. At the end of testing the motor temperature was measured: at the maximum point it was about 54 degrees for the frame and 55 degrees for the windings, given that there was no forced cooling provided.

Apart from the tests, the process of accommodating the test area is underway.
