Launching a VTOL aircraft enterprise in Florida | About airships in the world

Skyborne Technology and Atlantic Industrial Group (AIG) are starting to expand their production facilities at Skyborne's plant in Wewahitchka, Florida. AIG will focus on manufacturing short vertical takeoff and landing (SVTOL) drone models. The plant in Florida will be a hub for airship and drone design. Large 3D printers will be used to create lightweight airframe components, wing and cockpit structures. Skyborne, part of UAV Corp, will continue to develop a semi-rigid airship at Wewahitchka. Both companies intend to utilize Skyborne's Costin Airport for flight testing, will house completed aircraft there in a new hangar.

AIG will offer customized solutions to integrate the drones with STI-type lightweight platforms. According to the joint venture's representatives, recruitment is underway at the Wewahitchka plant, including digital design and project management specialists. AIG has a number of licenses for technologies that will be used in contracts with government agencies and for private security, covering VTOL, power generation and traction.

"The partnership with Skyborne Technology will allow us to take our UAV and SVTOL technologies to the next level,” said AIG Chief Revenue Officer Maceo Remy. - "This partnership will create new jobs opportunities and help meet the growing interest in our innovative products."
