Victor Arestov is popularizing Duyunov's technology in Thailand
The governments of Asian countries are actively implementing electric transport solutions into the urban ecosystem, and Victor's trip to Bangkok and Phuket is connected with it. 4 Thai companies expressed intentions to redesign their tuk tuks and make them electric by offering Victor Arestov's company ASPP to become their contractor for mounting Duyunov's motors.
The first potential customer is the company that produces electric scooters and motorcycles. It has the governmental contract for producing 50 electric tuk tuks and is currently negotiating with ASPP the possibility of using DA-90S motors made using the "Slavyanka" technology. Previously the Thai producers used QS-motors with 2 kW power. After ASPP reduced the price for its motors, they have become much more competitive on the Asian market and it resulted in the following: Duyunov's motors for this project have already arrived to Bangkok.
After the first business meeting, the head of the partner company Hanergy Glory joined Arestov's delegation. ASPP has a number of common projects with Hanergy Glory in the area of solar power including re-designing the tricycle and mini jeep to be driven by renewable energy: the roofs of prototypes have already been equipped with solar panels. In general, this project needs to be fine-tuned but what we have now is already quite viable.
In the course of meetings with the Thai companies, the partners developed the idea of a new and even more interesting project: instead of tuk tuks redesigned to electric motors, ASPP Weihai will offer solar tuk tuks with Duyunov's motors on the Asian market.
The second company that ASPP has agreed to have a meeting with deals with delivering transport to hotel industry companies. They are interested in producing large-sized tuk tuks capable of transporting 20-30 people. For this project, Victor is planning to use the motors that are produced for Chinese three-ton trucks. The roofs of such tuk tuks allow to install over 9 m2 of solar panels.
Due to the fact that a number of new meetings were planned to be held online, Victor Arestov had to cancel his return departure date. Victor scheduled visiting a large enterprise where a lot of electric motors are operated simultaneously and the power expenditures of several company's subsidiaries amount to $500,000 per month. Victor Arestov is planning to start the partnership with the pilot project on reducing the consumption of electrical energy. The potential partners were enthusiastic about the offer to change their inefficient motors to Duyunov's motors free of charge and at the same time install solar panels on the roofs of the companies' premises. Thanks to saving electrical energy, in only several months it will be possible to cover the price of the motors and start making profit. In return, the new partner wants to get the dealer rights for distributing the "Slavyanka" technology in their region and this intention is in the best interests of the project "Duyunov's motors".
According to Victor Arestov, this quite easy way of promoting the technology can be used anywhere where there is governmental control and support.
Further company's plans include preparing the solar car run along the route Beijing-Weihai or Weihai-Beijing-Bangkok, but that's another story. Wait for more news!
