New tests in China. Denzel-ASPP induction motor
Recently we have conducted testing of DA-90S electric motor with “Slavyanka” winding mounted to Rush3 motorcycle by Denzel. Two weeks before that the motorcycle was equipped with a standard DA-90 induction motor. In both cases a Curtis controller was used.
The exact figures and the report haven’t been prepared yet, but we can acknowledge another success of “Slavyanka” without them. In order to compare the motors, the main parameters, such as speed, torque, difference in currents, etc have been measured.
The standard induction motor at low speed didn’t start well enough, the main torque got engaged only after exceeding 30 km/h. “Slavyanka” conversely showed very high torque from zero point, given that the currents are 2-3 times less.
Victor Arestov commented on the first tests: "The difference in currents has its effect exactly at the start and load change. And when the speed is levelled off, the consumption is generally the same. The current was limited by BMS itself (it's not a powerful one – the maximum direct current is 100A and peak current is 200A). So far we reached the maximum speed of 85 km/h".
We are waiting for more news from Victor Arestov!
