What economic impact can be expected from implementing "Slavyanka" technology in Moscow?
Testing motors modernized using Duyunov's technology proves that using the patented winding "Slavyanka" changes the motors to a higher energy consumption class by reducing the power consumption alongside increasing the machine capacity.
What is the real scope of saving?
The engineer, inventor and expert in the field of energy efficiency V.N. Deynego answered this question in his interview for "PROtechnologii" after calculating how much the level of electrical energy consumption will be reduced after universal modernization of electric motors of Moscow city electric transport.
The data of the energy consumption by Moscow electric transport in 2008 was used and it showed that over 66 % of power consumption was attributed to metro, 22 % - to railway transport, 12 % - to trolley buses and trams. The total level of consumption was 3101.2 million kW*h. With the average saving amount of 25-30 % achieved earlier as a result of introducing the "Slavyanka" technology winding to the motors of trolley buses, implementing Duyunov's motors to all traction electric drives will bring the city the saving of at least 61.5 million kW*h (!).
If we multiply this result by the cost of 1 kW*h, we get a considerable amount that can be spent on developing the infrastructure, buying new cars, reducing the travel costs for Moscow residents.
